Senate Republicans on Monday recoiled at former President Trump’s comments at a rally in New Hampshire over the weekend, where he said the thousands of immigrants streaming into the United States on a daily basis are “poisoning the blood of our country.”
They also balked at Trump quoting Russian President Vladimir Putin’s criticism of the American political system as a defense against the 91 felony counts he is facing in Washington, D.C., Miami and New York.
“I think it’s unhelpful rhetoric,” said Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), a member of Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell’s (Ky.) leadership team, when asked about Trump’s claim that immigrants are “poisoning” the country.
Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), another member of the Senate GOP leadership team, said, “Obviously, I don’t agree with that.”
“We’re all children of immigrants,” she said. “It’s just part of his campaign rhetoric, I guess. I don’t know, I can’t explain it.”

First of all illegal aliens are NOT immigrants. Immigrants are those who have legally entered the country. That was more or less the definition before this modern era.
Secondly, Trump’s saying that foreign countries emptying prisons and mental institution and sending them to the US is “poisoning the blood of our country” is an excellent description and in line with the Obama/Biden transformation of America.
Another ridiculous fake news pseudo-event. The Hill is more concerned about Trump’s verbiage, with respect to the migrant invasion, than they are about the invasion itself.
Ah, the weak kneed Re[publican Senators recoil at the truth. The fact that they have no spine and continually reelected McConnell as their leader is exhibit A as to why our nation is as bad as it currently is. I wouldn’t let 90 percent of them have my back on anything cause I know they wouldn’t be there when it counted. They are for the most part Democrats, not conservative Republicans.
Alexandra Bolton is a domestic terrorist.
Look at at the pro-hamas daily demonstrations. That is poison. We’re being replaced and it’s war. So sad to see. I don’t even think 45 can save us but at least he wants to!!
The left have made this issue a focal point on all of social media. It’s all they got.
Well, this is where Trump suffers by not have a disciplined campaign, people to help word-smith or second guess his words. It didn’t take long to find Mein Kampf’s “contamination of the blood” and “the poison which has invaded the national body” from an “influx of foreign blood”. I don’t support Trump, don’t think he likens himself to Hitler, doesn’t see the invasion the same, but when he uses loaded phrases, even inadvertantly it not only hurts him, but it hurts Republicans and all Americans.
Happened by chance to see a few seconds of ABC News that had the idiot host say solemnly that Trump brought back memories of the words of Adolph Hitler.
Sheesh.
Agree
Senate Republicans that can’t face the facts don’t need to be in office wimps are an anchor to getting things done the right way.

You are an idiot. A trained monkey. A Desantis online influencer paid to post democrat talking points in the form of a “concerned” republican voter.
You are completely full of $hit.

Suffer idiocy much?
14,000+ crossed ILLEGALLY yesterday & 26,000+ already in custody - the HIGHEST in US history,' the Republican posted online.
Cucks
Buncha jerks. What the hell do they think the drug cartels and MS13 gangs are? I am so fed up with the dumb, stupid people in Congress. No common sense. Half of them are as intellectually incapable as Biden.
“ They are running scared for some reason.”
They’re worried that the voters will realize that letting in 8 million unvetted, military-aged males from 3rd world authoritarian countries will “poison the blood” of our nation.
Analysis: Senate Republicans are under the thumb of cheap labor Chamber of Commerce.
The usual fake Republicans cry and whine.
I can say with 100% accuracy that my ancestors did NOT migrate to the United States.
