Wanting to hire “fewer white men” for a job is not discrimination, a tribunal has ruled.
Chris Palmer was turned down from an £80,000 post at a financial services company, who instead opted to hire a woman, after he was told at his job interview the company wanted to hire fewer white men.
At an employment tribunal, the candidate said his failure to get the position as head of HR was based on his ethnicity and gender following the remark from Michael Jones, the managing director.
However the panel dismissed his claims – ruling it was not “indicative of an intention to discriminate” when an employer mentioned its aim to improve diversity in its workforce.
Tamara Lewis, the judge presiding over the tribunal, said that although an organisation may aspire to be “less dominated by white men”, it does not mean that there is an “intention to achieve that objective by discriminating in recruitment against white men and in favour of women or minority ethnic candidates”.

It’s a big club, Chris...and you ain’t in it.
There is nothing more detrimental to self-worth than to know or believe you obtained your position out of any form of favoritism over merit.
One exception where such favoritism is fine is in very small family run companies where many different family members are all working for the family business. That’s a legitimate favoritism I know of.
The other exception is in the political realm and government appointees. I expect the appointing officials to favor individuals who - regardless of sex, “race”, or any other attributes related to birth and family - are going to be politically compatible with the person doing the appointing.
When all the Whiteys are out of work and beaten into a quivering pulp of unwilling submission, who will earn the money that is seized in taxes to pay to support non-Whiteys?
Imagine if the tribunal said, “Wanting to hire ‘fewer black men’ for a job is not discrimination.”
Yeah it is, it’s racist to the bone.

I did a contract design position for a major aircraft company. They had an entire “R&D division” just for the employment of dangerously unqualified black “engineers” and angry minority women with “studies” degrees. It was completely isolated from the actual production and design of the aircraft. Everyone knew the game. The real engineering staff was White, Indian, and Oriental. Not a single black person performed any actual engineering calculations. The “diversity” division was just so they could say they have such wonderful diversity for government contracts and diverse pictures for promotional materials.

That’s crazy a company has to incur an expense to employ known incompetents. I suppose it’s cheaper to play/pay the game than it is to go through a government butt inspection and to mitigate potential fines.
You betcha, HR is wakanda. I hated going there. If you looked like me they did the absolute minimum they could to address the reason you were there. It was there l realized black women are masters at giving general answers to specific questions. To get info you want you have to ask the same question 4 different ways and maybe you will get the info you need.
I believe they are oikophobics - mentally ill.
You should simply ask the questions “wif” a little pizzaz.

What kind of busy work did they get?
Like every other outrage from the left, it stops when enough people find the courage to refuse to go along with their insanity, including if necessary physical resistance.
Zero sum game, give one ethnicity an advantage, you disadvantage another. By definition it is discriminatory.
