Democrats are using identity politics again to test the waters for a ballot replacement for Joe Biden instead of finding a candidate with bona fide qualifications -- and integrity.
Michelle Obama is being touted a possible candidate who could beat Donald Trump.
She was recently publicized as an executive producer of a Netflix fiction movie, along with husband Barack.
There was not much of the old Obama hopey-changey messaging in her anti-white Netflix endeavor, however, which left identity politics as her selling point with voters.
Per the academic definition, identity politics is a Marxist tactic of assigning utmost societal importance to a candidate’s empowerment of a collective, victimized group such as women, or minorities.
Anyone opposing the victim-candidate is immediately labeled as suppressing the entire representative group. For example, people who opposed presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton were labeled as anti-women or misogynists, just as those who criticized Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012 were called racist.
Identity politics has pulverized Dr. Martin Luther King’s Jr.’s dream of Americans judging others by the “content of their character instead of the color of their skin” in choosing a candidate.
Meanwhile, collectivism is a fundamental element of totalitarian ideology.
As a result, political candidate selection that should embrace American individualism and Dr. King’s character-content theory is now surpassed by identity politics.
But individualism and integrity as candidate-qualifiers have not worked out well for Democrats.
For example, in Hillary Clinton’s case, her entire 2016 campaign was dependent on identity politics and Democrats’ collective yearning to elevate women with a first woman president.
But, Clinton’s integrity was defined by such moments as being caught on tape nervously laughing about winning a case for a 41-year old rapist of a 12 year-old girl, and her soulless, exasperated, “What difference, does it make?” remark

But unlike Hillary, she is not running, and does not wish to run. And as far as I know, no Democrats are suggesting that she should run.
The deep-state is trying to figure out who is the most fitting of their controlled puppets.
Joe was a bad choice. Even though he’s stupid, hopelessly corrupt and thus easily controlled, he’s just no longer presentable in public and has too much verbal diarrhea
Her husbands habit of sleeping with white men will become a campaign issue if she runs.
Smell that? That’s never Trump desperation.
“boiled cabbage, urine, and farts.”
Running Big Mike would be a disaster for the communists....and they know it.
Barack’s not gay, but $20 is $20.
Because she won’t fit in the Presidential limo with that 800 lb. chip on her shoulder
I think Joe will withdraw from the race shortly before the Democrat convention. Hillary will then make her move. There's still the problem of what to do about Kamala.
She would be the least desirable candidate, below all the other women who want to be president: oprah, kamala, meghan, hochul, whitmer, buttigieg, and AOC.
"She" is a tranny...Obama is gay as a 3 dollar bill.
Obambi will still run the show - no matter who is selected to be the puppet.
If ya think Failed CA Gov Gruesome will be picked, y’all been puffin bad chiba.
Big Mike gonna be drafted.
Count on it.
Biden has shown us that it does not matter who is the actual president.
Michelle could easily be president, and the troika that runs Biden could switch over to her.
Exactly. Quit posting this BS
This Michelle for Pres. business is a stale retread worthy of a Dick Morris column.
My guess is Harris. We’ll see.
“She was recently publicized as an executive producer of a Netflix fiction movie, along with husband Barack.”
Sam Esmail and Julia Roberts were the real producers of “Leave the World Behind”. IMDB shows which producers are “p.g.a” and the Obamas are not among them.
ANYONE can be an executive producer of a film. The jobs of producers may be business, creative, or both. A sizeable investment or merely making a phone call to arrange for someone else to invest can earn the credit. In the case of the Obamas, lending their names to the project for fundraising purposes could earn them credit. Their contributions could have been reading the screenplay and saying they liked it. Or nothing at all.
The movie received some backlash because of accusations of being anti-white. I disagree. There is a character who says some anti-white things. White actors make up most of the cast, and there is no clear-cut antagonist in the story.
The movie is a lackluster exploration of how people might react in America during an end-of-the-world type of event. Racial politics plays a tiny role.
I was interested in this film because it was written and directed by Sam Esmail. He wrote and directed Mr. Robot. Mac Quayle did the music scoring in that TV series and this film as well.
