They hate people who don’t become defensive.
It is a "sometimes" thing right now but that is the way it always starts. Japanese are absolutely on the list of people it is ok to discriminate against.
Indian and South East Asia is a "sometimes". Han Chinese is not yet. Filipino is also not yet.
