Remember the fallen. Honor those who serve. Teach the next generation the value of freedom. It’s the mission of Wreaths Across America. You can join us by sponsoring a wreath, volunteering or partnering with us on National Wreaths Across America Day and every day.
Please remember the fallen who have given their life to help make this country so great.
Our group served three cemeteries today and we are already expanding our reach to several more cemeteries for 2024.
Any donation between today and January 16th will be doubled and help defer any additional price hikes in the coming year.
My USMC vet nephew participated at Arlington Cemetery today. His company donate a huge truck full of wreaths. He sent me some great photos.
He got to meet and honor a Gold Star Mom, too.
We normally help lay wreaths in Maryland but had to skip this year. We had to travel for a funeral tomorrow afternoon of a man I’ve known for over fifty years and was somewhat of a mentor.
This year was my first year of being directly involved. We started a few months ago by locating the gravesites of fallen veterans and marking them with small American flags in the past two weeks.
It was such an honor and privilege to be a part of this ceremony and I am arranging to help grow our local program in the next year.
If you are considering a donation this year. All donations between today and January 16th are doubled and will go to next year’s program on December 14, 2024.

Thank you for the link.
Our small group laid over 200 wreaths at two cemeteries this afternoon. First was a dedication to a gorgeous new veterans memorial at one of the cemeteries.
Both ceremonies were very touching.
The entire experience is breathtaking and something that I will always remember. Our program had volunteers from the American Revolution provide a musket volley as a 21 gun salute.
I received an award today from the county commissioner for my efforts and contribution to the program. He only gave out two medallions and the other one was to the wonderful lady who planned everything.
Way to go Radu. Thank you for your efforts.
It’s a wonderful experience, no doubt about it. This is our third year doing it but I missed last year because my husband had just died. I was primed and ready this year.
I love the idea of the muskets! We don’t do anything like that, unfortunately. Just a few speakers but their words are heart-felt. I look around at all the veterans who are there and it’s obvious it all means a lot to them.
Very nice you were recognized for your efforts and contribution to the program.
It’s an honor and definitely a pleasure to do my small part.
I lay wreaths at my Grandparents & Parent’s graves several times a year. We have a nice chat every time, say a few prayers, and shed a few tears.
Someone should tell the Democrats that is Wreath nor Wrath.
Our local SAR and DAR chapters have participated since 2010. This year there was a much larger turnout than in previous years.
