It seems to me that thr speaker has gotten subpoenas and inquiries passed in exchange for this. He hasn’t really won any battles nor has he drawn any hard lines or positions. He was in a strong position when he took over because no one was willing to go back to the drawing board. He squandered an opportunity. He is longer in strong position. He should be replaced if the Repukes hold the house. Maybe you can keep him if Trump gets back in. He might bw more willing to be tough if Trump is there to take all of the heat.
