Why would anyone want to leave a communist utopia like Venezuela? Are they mentally ill?
Carbondale is a home rule municipality in Garfield County, Colorado
Believe me that “home rule” business has some meaning. If it appears where you live you need to oppose those proposing it and it.
Where I come from we spell it Bumf***.
...not to mention the relatively moderate temperatures compared to the high rockies. The convention center always has something going on for work opportunities.
“ Carbondale is a home rule municipality in Garfield County, Colorado, with a population of around 6,434. ”
Around? That sounds awfully precise.
"Carbondale takes its name from Carbondale, Pennsylvania, hometown of some of Carbondale's early settlers."

Are those houses the houses of the compassionate? Looks like they have plenty of room inside.
Carbondale... because if you built it, he will come.
It makes simple sense why it's so hard to keep up with all the changes, because in this week of Chanukah and Parshat Mikeitz ("from the end") -- the one where Joseph receives his ingenuity/decipher code name after two years --
Horace Short knows that [after 120 years] time is short [קצר].
It's the simple meaning.
How short?
"Keep your card in this pocket" -- i.e. the paper moon pocket for card number 2923. It's a simple message for the "too big to fail" Establishment beast, wherever it sets up shop.
Those are the places established so that all are free to ask questions, just as long as they fall in lockstep with the party line when they're done.

Seasons of the Moon: The Jewish Year Seen Through its Months
A common tradition is that Noah worked on the ark for 120 years. Even 'Paper Moon' was literally in the headlines this past week.
Well, there's always this classic from the Statler Brothers, of going back to counting Flowers on the Wall:
The Statler Brothers - Flowers On the Wall (Man in Black: Live in Denmark)
(I find it useful to document this stuff. It's always something.)
Is Vegas a designated “sanctuary sanctuary” since the extreme far-lefties from New Yawk took it over and changed it into New Yawk?
>A common tradition is that Noah worked on the ark for 120 years.<
Must have used Union Labor...................
We’ve gained the population of the state of Ohio in the last three years... 11 million. That is not sustainable at all.
How do Venezualan illegals buy cars or get insurance or driver’s licenses?
There won’t be lots of jobs when the tourists go elsewhere.
They might need more than 6 to a car on below freezing nights.
Just because their hearing might be held, it doesn’t mean they’ll show up.
Is that town a ‘sanctuary city’ ?
The whole state is, probably.............
They don’t buy insurance. You buy it for them by increases in your premiums.
They cause an accident and your insurance has to cover it. The cops let them leave the scene.
Yeah, I figured.
new arrivals have been left with no choice but to sleep outside in their cars.
/\

Here are just two others.
Start with a dismal human condition, add drugs with the devastation from the pine beetle and you have Colorado. It’s looking more like Afghanistan from a distance. And in the midst you have the billionaires sprinkled. What kind of a dystopia is that? All that money and folly can buy, I guess. It seems to be our future.
