A new poll from NBC News/Des Moines Register/Mediacom shows Trump at 51 percent support among likely Iowa caucus-goers, marking an eight-point increase from October. DeSantis and Haley, on the other hand, trailed at 19 and 16 percent, respectively.
The former president has also received good polling news at the national level. A Wall Street Journal poll released on Sunday showed Trump polling at 59 percent support, while Haley and DeSantis trailed at 15 percent and 14 percent, respectively.
On top of his commanding lead in the Iowa horse race, the latest poll also found that Trump’s supporters in Iowa are more committed than those of his opponents. Seventy percent of Iowa Trump supporters said their mind was made up about backing the former president, while 30 percent said they “could still be persuaded” about supporting another candidate.

Just had an idea for a comedy skit. President Trump announces he will spot SloJo Biden 5 million votes in the next election. He delivers those votes in the same type of containers they pulled from under the tables at that voting place. Hussein would never go for it, but SloJo might.
“approaches”?
There is no race. Never has been.
The DOJ looks at (political) numbers like this.
Why do you think they are trying to fast track supreme court decision on Presidential Immunity?
They’re in a big hurry to take Trump down before the primaries and convention. Proof that the cases against him are all politically motivated.
But can he beat anyone who the dim-0 party puts up when quid pro joe drops out of the race?
His lead won’t last once all of the Grannies and Daughters from all over the country flock to Iowa to vote for DeSantis, like his wife commanded.
My fantasy is that who ever the Liberals bankroll into the third party spot, will drop out and endorse Trump at the last minute. 😁
Approaches?
He’s 50 points ahead and those numbers are from the cheating liberals who hate Trump. He went past “approaching” unbeatable just as he was winning Arizona and Brett Baier and Martha McCallum called it for Biden.
The Hill is “approaching” ridiculousness

“I thought for sure the $95k bribe to Bob Grifter Pants had it locked up for Rob!!!” -DeSanctus Dude
Only 51%, the GOP needs to get him closer to 90% and needs to have all these pretenders drop out.
I think Rob is counting on Iowa, Krippy on NH, Donor Barbie on getting votes as the others drop out…
I was asked to take the poll on Sunday and my answers are in the article. 100% Trump. PERIOD.
Polls don’t mean anything, but neither do debates or primary campaigns - not this time.
Republican voters already chose President Trump as their nominee in 2020, and that decision still stands. This whole exercise is a huge waste of time and money.
The only benefit of going through the motions is that it showcases how thoroughly out-of-touch the Republican establishment is with Republican voters. They are literally 180° from each other - working at cross purposes.
I’m one who voted for DT twice but won’t again after he went the “Desanctimonious”-”Birdbrain” route. As Maya Angelou said: https://elevatesociety.com/when-someone-shows-you-who/. Imo Trump is all about winning the nomination - it’s his “precious”. Ensuring a Biden or Newsome, etc. win doesn’t bother him a bit imo.
You voted for Trump twice, but you didn’t know he made up nasty nicknames for his primary opponents? I call BS.
Let me guess.. you think Trump lost in 2020, right? Thought so.
Ron has no mustache. The chair is on the floor.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_nicknames_used_by_Donald_Trump ... I didn’t remember DT being a prolific “name-caller”. I remember “lyin’ Hillary” and “low energy Jeb”. Seeing the long list makes me regret ever voting for him. Explains how we got Senile Joe though.
Excellent reasoning, sounds like something Nikki would come up with.
Do you think “dissing” your opponents instead of pointing out policy differences is a winning strategy? Please explain how that makes sense? Maybe it’s a regional thing - iow parts of America like “trash-talking”? I don’t where that might be and I’d like to know areas to avoid.
