Hate to tell you, but it's over...period.

Our debt is at 33 trillion, and as predicted by me and others, interest on the debt now exceeds the defense budget. We'll be at 40 trillion in a couple of years, and the interest on the debt will be twice the defense budget.

Neither party has the ability to rein in federal spending, they're going to grift for all they're worth until we hit that fiscal wall.

Depending on future rates, interest payments on the debt could reach a whopping $2 trillion per year by the end of the decade, consuming close to 30 percent of all federal tax revenue — and also forcing the government to borrow more just to pay off current bondholders.

I propose we do nothing about it. Until the Democrats are forced to act on the issue. So we'll kick the can down the road.

” Neither party has the ability to rein in federal spending, they’re going to grift for all they’re worth until we hit that fiscal wall. “

They are all like the corrupt executives of a failing corporation who are doing asset stripping and value extraction before the true financial condition is exposed.
