Because all laws were followed and this mass shooter purchased a handgun completely legally, we NEED TO BAN ASSAULT WEAPONS NOW!!!
The only reason to worry about the firearm is to demonize the item not the person.
I am reminded of the old Quincy M.E. in which someone bought a .25 cal Saturday Night Special, it escaped the buyer by a burglary and went on a killing spree.
Quincy yells...’WE’VE GOT TO STOP “IT” BEFORE “IT” KILLS AGAIN!’
Same plot was also used on the Streets of San Francisco till they caught the .25 and melted it down into a sewer cover.
And the TV watching public were supposed to agree with this nonsense.
