The Disney board is not running the company for the benefit of the shareholders. Otherwise they would have fired Iger by now. Nelson Peltz whose hedge fund owns a large block of Disney shares is fighting an uphill battle to get on the board. He has a history of improving the performance of corporations when he gets on their board of directors. He happens to be a Trump supporter.

Check out the top three institutional shareholders.
The names will sound distressingly familiar.
Iger is doing what he’s told.
Can’t do anything about the institutional shareholders.
Boycott Disney.
I’ve been doing it for years.
It’s not a hardship.

"If somebody is going to try to blackmail me with advertising, blackmail me with money, go f*** yourself," he said.
This is more like extortion than blackmail. It would be hard to blackmail men like Musk and Trump, as their lives are unusually open, and they are both thick skinned.

Hey Mr. Musk - would you like to Buy Disney, Fire Iger and clean house? My grandchildren would love some wholesome entertainment without all this woke globohomo BS.

While firing Iger is a step in the right direction, the rot goes waaay too far inside the company with radical leftists in the creative departments that write and develop the perverted storylines.
It will take years if not decades to clean these Egean stables.
