You may feel your definition is more expansive.

I feel like it’s far too trivial.

Indicting someone for a felony is serious. It’s not like a civil lawsuit where it’s a matter of liability for money, not prison.

There’s justification for your version.

But in my opinion, it’s far too trite to dismiss the use of the criminal justice system to achieve political aims.

Maybe you could ask the purveyors of all this:

They are doing this crap in Michiganstan too.
Just a travesty of justice.
I get the feeling that the democommies that got into office during the fake election are trying to do the maximum amount of damage before they are voted out.
They forgot.
