This is exactly the difference between the subjective and the objective views of reality. No doubt, in their own mind they are entitled to all they think they should have. However, in the outside world, their value is determined by the marketplace, which if no longer governed by The Iron Law of Wages, is certainly driven by the marginal utility of their services, which is apparently much less than they think it is. That's really their complaint.
