Every government employee and government funded enterprise employee in D.C., VA., Maryland., etc. Not all are subscribers but ALL are readers.

The walkout comes as the Post is anticipating a loss of around $100 million in 2023.If the average salary and benefits for those 240 jobs is $200K, that's only $48M saved. Maybe some upper management jobs will be be eliminated to bring the savings closer to $100M. But the Compost should be prepared for an even greater annual losses in the coming years.
Two individuals familiar with the Post’s finances reportedly told The New York Times in July that the outlet plans to eliminate roughly 240 jobs.
