It’s not an opinion. He predicted that Russia will eventually attack the Baltics, and that could require US troops. He did not threaten to put troops anywhere if Ukraine aid is denied.

My husband was a Vietnam Veteran who died due to being sprayed with Agent Orange while serving at the U-Tapao Royal Thai Navy Airfield.
He, you, nor any other Vietnam Vet came in second.
It was Johnson Regime who devolved the conflict into a quagmire.

The central problem is you consider Ukraine an ally. Since 2014, Ukraine has caused far more harm to the United States than Russia has.

I consider Ukraine a valuable strategic asset in Europe, and the negatives of giving Russia that victory as too high.
The Ukrainian people are generally good and deserving of our support. It’s not necessary to put them on a pedestal.
