We’ll be lucky to see even one. But if that charger is finally built, it’s sure to be doozy as $7.5 billion can buy a lot of extras. It might even have a built-in car vacuum! No extra charge.

And what happened to the $7.5B? Did it disappear?

This entire thing is a scam. I’ll bet every penny of that money will be spent before a single “federally funded” charging station is actually built.

Well, in California, they might be waiting for the $30 billion high-speed train track to be built.

Build Back Better is still in the destruction phase.

Don’t be so suspicious. First you’ve got to hire consultants. Then you’ve got to hire coordinators to coordinate all the consultants. And then you’ve got to hire presenters to put everything on PowerPoint slides.

None of these folks work cheap.

Oh, and then there’s the graft, bribes, and kickbacks. That too.

Sprinkling EV chargers across America is supposed to reduce range anxiety, a key factor holding back EV sales.

Sorry, sprinkling is not going to do that for me.

My truck has a 600 mile range.

The best range for an EV that I know of is about half that.

With a time to charge for an EV at about two to three hours I am not going to trade my internal combustion vehicle for a EV just to alleviate some woke Leftist imaginary fears of a Global Warming catastrophe which of course will never be alleviated

Unlike some conservatives, I don’t think there is anything wrong with the concept of electric cars.

I agree.

There is no problem with the concept. But it should live or die on its merits.

it should get no government subsidies or tax breaks.

It should live or die on its sales to the consumer without any government favors.

I would venture to say that the “green new deal” is an even bigger bust than the EVs. For a president to support something like this is nothing short of criminal.
