Give that cop a promotion and a raise. She knows what to do with people that are killing over 70,000 people every year with that poison.

By the time she inquired about his feelings about his childhood in his dysfunctional family he could have disarmed her and shot her. And ten morons would have been filming her on their cell phones to try to get a viral video to sell before the citizens review board set her up for prison.
Personal opinion: I don’t blame officers for quitting now. The American people are not worth saving. Facing criminal charges for trying to protect them is a waste of a good cop’s life——for nothing.
Take note Alabama business owners! I hope your insurance is paid up and you have a good relationship with your agent, because you might need to be filing a claim by the end of the week. Once the media gets hold of such a story, they will not stop until they get a “mostly peaceful protest” out of it.

It was his arrest and apparently he is a citizen. The citizen was being arrested. I don’t even think a comma would help make it clearer.

He just hit the lottery... She’s going to do time for that. There are so many violations of less-than-lethal and custodial procedures there that I stopped counting them. It appears to me that she is the type that has something to prove, has anger issues, and quiet possibly some psychological problems that would prevent her from being a commissioned law enforcement officer in most jurisdictions.
I hate a drug dealer with a passion... But we still have to obey the law in how they are treated when in custody.
She sure looks like an arresting lady to me.

It could be that because the black guy was the victim, he had to make the arrest.
It sounds odd, but I’ve seen that before. Cops roll up on an incident. A crime has occurred, but the cops did not witness it. Cops tell the victim to arrest the suspect.
Victim says “you’re under arrest” to the suspect. Cops then cart the suspect off to jail.
Dealing fentanyl???
Needs killing, IMO.
I was a good boy and stayed on the back roads the rest of the way (which I would’ve done anyway), after a fuel/rest stop because my 1.2 gallon tank was almost empty anyway after an hour on the freeway.
The cop, meanwhile, got back to her own job, was to keep the freeway safe for all users. We parted, both smiling, and I wasn’t even formally cautioned :-)
This incident took place at least 15 years ago BTW.
