But the mayor London Broil said things are not that bad...
To: ChicagoConservative27
That’s the way to do it. Give no advanced notice to the thieves. Just empty the store and move on.

---- "But the mayor London Broil said things are not that bad..."
She also said that the Biden administration was not doing "enough" to help San Francisco.
Funny spelling of the name, by the way.

The mayor has also said that the Westfield Mall site could be turned into a soccer stadium, so her grip on reality may not be so great.
My mom used to take my sister and me back-to-school shopping there when it used to be The Emporium department store. Sad to see what's happening to SF.
To: ChicagoConservative27
That’ll hurt the smash-and-grabber’s holiday shopping season!

But hey, how ‘bout those Niners! Why do they continue to call the team the San Francisco 49ers? They're now in Santa Clara, which is 40 miles away, and although it's also a blue city, Santa Clara's culture and atmosphere are poles apart from that of Frisco.

Same reason that they aren’t called The Arlington Cowboys.

The 49ers were ahead of the curve and fled San Francisco years ago.

Same for the Dallas Cowboys. They haven’t played in Dallas since Texas Stadium was built.

Mayor London Broil weighed in.....said things are “not THAT bad”........ She also
said the abandoned Westfield Mall site could be turned into a “soccer stadium.”
........seems her grip on reality may not be so great.......
LOL......maybe if she took a pause from looting the
city treasury, she’d get a clearer picture of the problem?

There are a few other sports teams who do not play in the city whose name they carry.
The Washington Redskins commanders team plays in Suburban Maryland. The LA Chargers and LA Rams play in Suburban Inglewood. The Giants and Jets play in New Jersey.
I’m sure there may be some others who don’t actually play in the city limits of the city name they have.
To: ChicagoConservative27
It's just as well.
You can really hurt yourself stepping on these.

Arlington is a lot closer to Dallas than Santa Clara is to Frisco.
We have the same issue in Southern California with the Angels baseball team. The owner insists on calling them "the Los Angeles Angels" which many of us in Orange County resent. Anaheim, where the team is located, is most definitely not Los Angeles.
To: Fiji Hill
Well Arlington is closer to Fort Worth, so it should be The Fort Worth Cowboys, if anything.
