All deaths are "related to climate".

We live in climate.

Therefore, all deaths are related to the climate.

This is a stupid truism.

I just watched a couple videos yesterday about the Blizzard of 1978 in Boston. If you don not recall they predicted a typical small snow storm. Nothing significant. They ended up with 53” over 2 days. Many people were literally stuck on route 128(I 95). Thousands of autos were stuck in the afternoon/evening commute home from work and became buried. Some people ended up stuck at their jobs for five or more days. It shut down the city for a week. Six people died due to that incident of climate change. Some people died of CO poisoning sitting in their buried cars.

A blizzard hit Buffalo, NY the previous winter(January 1977). The previous December 1976 was the earliest time on record for Lake Erie to freeze over. Three plus feet of snow and 75 mph winds hit Buffalo and the south towns. I lived through this one. I was 14. We had drifts up to 8’ high up against the side of our house in Orchard Park(suburb south of the city).
I was not in school for a week. Again, several people died due to this climate change.

Lastly, in the spring of 1977 we had an ice storm again in Buffalo. We lost power for a week. I was again out of school for a full week.
We hung out mostly at my one buddies house at the end of the road because their house was on a different electric service line. When all the ice started to melt I remember taking turns bailing water out of the sump pump hole in the basement and dumping it into the stationary tubs about 20’ away. This drained into the town sewer line. We had to do this because the basement had 2” of water in it. We did not have a generator to run the pump. So, we all five of us took turns in the bucket brigade except my nine year old younger brother.

Several people died because of various reasons during this climate change event.
