For someone who wants Israel to lose, consider this: Kirby is talking diplomatically about peace. He is a diplomat, that is how all diplomats talk. Including when their country started the war, the all talk in the same manner.

The US has taken real no action to force Israel to negotiate. No country, for all the words from their diplomats, has taken any action to force Israel to negotiate with Hamas.

What is really going on behind the scenes, is the US, Europe, and the Middle East except Qatar and Iran, is more than happy to let Israel destroy Hamas.

Kirby is not a diplomat. He is the WH (NSC) spokesman for national security matters. Before that, he was a Navy Pubic Affairs Officer. Which means that is and has long been just a flack, a p.r. man.
