Newsom’s onerous regulations, taxes and stupid climate change policies are what’s driving gas prices as high as they are.
You should see how many businesses are shuttered in my California town - and nothing is replacing them. That and DeSantis is right that MANY common products like laundry detergent and shampoo are now locked up behind plexiglass b/c it’s OK to shoplift in California. It’s become a massive, massive problem - DeSantis needs to mention how many Targets and Walgreens have closed in San Francisco - where Newsom was mayor - due to shoplifting.
