If you are referring to Melania, who cares why or how she chose her attire? Black is a popular favorite color for funerals, but navy blue, gray, and brown are also. In most cases, no color is off-limits as long as it is a subdued rather than bright color. Earth-tone variations of most colors are frequently worn to funerals in the US. I remember wearing brown to my own brother’s service. When was the last time you attended a funeral and looked around and saw nothing but black clothing?
