The Quest Channel has a show on called MAYDAY weeknights at 02:00 & 03:00 EST.
They reenact Air Crashes and the Investigations. Can be very sobering to watch.
There was one on last week about the AA DC-10 Flight 191 that went down right after takeoff as a result of the #1 (left) engine coming off of the wing and it was a flight that had a Cockpit Camera so the Passengers could see what was happening in real time. The Cockpit Camera was discontinued after that flight.
Oh my heavens. That would be terrifying, can’t imagine what the airlines were thinking to have a camera in the cockpit.
