The same people who will snicker when someone pronounces Job, jobb, pronounces Lot, Lott, when, in effect, it really should be pronounced with a long O, just like Job. I’m no Hebrew scholar, but both Job and Lot should be pronounced with long O. English speakers make a difference between the two, but I’ve no doubt many none blush speakers pronounce them the same, just as some speakers say Two Chronicles instead of Second Chronicles.
Non-English speakers, NOT none blush! (Rotten auto correct!)
