My wife and I drove 1,800 miles through Washington State, British Columbia and Alberta last September. I must have seen a dozen "Land Acknowledgement" signs and placards, mainly in Canada. I read them and they all said exactly the same thing:
"We acknowledge we stole your land. We aren't giving it back. All you get is this lousy little placard. Enjoy."
It is such a virtue-signaling thing to do. The libs get to feel smug that they've done something, even though that something is meaningless, trite, and very insulting.

I wonder what the Indian and First Nations tribes think about this.

“We acknowledge we stole your land. We aren’t giving it back. All you get is this lousy little placard. Enjoy.”

I would add.

“We also acknowledge that you stole the land from somebody else before we got here.”
