I hope you are right, but I have my doubts. Most Americans do not live in CA and have no clue what is happening in CA. In fact, most Americans have NO CLUE at all about anything, except maybe who is screwing who in Hollywood.

Our fellow countrymen are among the dumbest, most ignorant people in the civilized world. They cling to their cell phones and lap up the propaganda being fed to them without question, especially the younger folks.

The media and the entire left-wing Establishment will pimp Newsome endlessly and never mention the pitiful destruction of the one-time Golden State. Newsome speaks well, is clever, quick on his feet, devious, and has good hair.

Not saying he is impossible to beat, but it will be difficult. We had better hope Biden's ego is big enough to convince him to stay in the race.
