Correct. 106.4 Million U.S. Adults Do Not Have A Job Right Now
https://economiccollapse.substack.com/p/bidenomics-1064-million-us-adults

Unemployment in the Great Depression
The Great Depression was the worst economic period in history. In the United States, unemployment rose to 25% at its highest level during the Great Depression. Literally, a quarter of the country’s workforce was jobless.

Finally, poor government policies worsened unemployment. In 1930, the US Federal Reserve temporarily raised interest rates to try and protect the value of the dollar and the gold standard.

This was a counter-intuitive policy, but highlights a problem of the gold standard and trying to protect value of the currency – rather than provide monetary stimulus. If the government had instead lowered interest rates, it would have encouraged spending and helped promote the economy.

This number translated to 15 million unemployed Americans in 1933. As the Depression spread across the globe, some countries saw unemployment as high as 33%.

Make no mistake, the GOP did everything they could do to stop Reagan back in the 70s and 80s.

That's the mythology, but once Reagan was elected, it was his party and he didn't have much trouble with it. Bear in mind that the Democrats controlled the House all through his presidency and the Senate for much of it.

Trump is facing an entirely different breed of wolf. More vicious, bolder, hungrier and in far greater numbers.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Let’s hope that Trump’s unhappy experience last term will ensure that he shuns the advice of the so-called experts regardless of party affiliation, and instead will seek the counsel of outsiders who have well-known track records of advocating policies and programs the purpose of which is to MAGA.

Reagan was good president, but Reagan was no Trump. Trump would never have granted an amnesty for millions of illegals.

Why do we have to choose?

Because the intent of the Trump basher who scribbled that screed is to persuade you to reconsider your support for him?

Are they the party of Ronald Reagan, or the party of Donald Trump? A party of grounded conservative principles, advanced by Reagan’s high-minded optimism and penchant for compromise? Or a party of authoritarian, populist impulses, motivated by Trump’s dark and pessimistic vision of America as “a nation in decline”?

Reagan was also seen as a populist, and Trump wasn't any more of an "authoritarian" than Reagan was. The optimism/pessimism theme is overdone. Reagan was pessimistic about the US under Carter and optimistic about the US under Reagan. Trump was pessimistic about the US under Obama and Biden but optimistic about what the US could be under Trump. Mike Pence tried what he thought was a rosy Reaganite attitude and nobody was convinced or impressed.

Politics shouldn't be about optimism and pessimism. It ought to be about realism. If you believe we should crush Russia by going into massive debt ourself is that optimism or pessimism or just stupidity? If you think humans only have 10 years to survive but we can save the world by buying electric cars is that optimism or pessimism or just insanity?

False choice. The Republicans have not been the party of Reagan for several decades.

As I recall they tried to kill Reagan off too. Only President Trump can withstand the onslaught of both Democrats and Republican hitmen.

Look what happened after Trump’s term. It got even worse. Trump did nothing to permanently bring positive change.

It’s not the “mean” tweets that’s the problem, it’s the moronic, juvenile, self-absorbed, clueless, ranting about nothing tweets that show he’s lost his mind. It’s the horrible choices in staffing, the spending trillions, the gross things he says about women. Why would any clear thinking person feel that’s what we need to lead the country? He had his chance and he blew it.

It hasn’t been the party of Reagan for a few decades. Reagan wasn’t perfect, none of us are, but he was certainly not a Uniparty RINO like most of the republicans are today.
