You forgot to mention the Secret Squirrel guy who was literally riding shotgun in the car behind Kennedy’s. He had his weapon out, ist shot is fired, the limo speeds up, SS is standing on the cushy seats, he’s jolted and reflexively pullsn the trigger. This also explained the upward angle of the fatal shot. Can’t remember the dude’s name, but of course there’s a book out about it, and of course SS sued author, settled out of court. Also explains the different ammo type (frangible vs non-frangible).

Who killed Kennedy?

I think Howard Hunt got it mostly right. LBJ gave the order to Cord Meyer in the CIA. Meyer organized the effort in the CIA. Oswald and Lucien Sarti (the "French gunman") carried out the assassination.

It was a coup inside the Democratic party.
