The Falklands were never Argentine territory; the British claimed it from the Spanish after a protracted war there that resulted in later Argentine independence from the Spanish empire, called Río de la Plata. With all due respect, take advice from your own screen name with respect to history.

The Falkland Islands have been a British possession since the 1700s, with an 8 year break in the LATE 1700s. The Brits have had an uninterrupted reign over these islands since then.
Argentina has NEVER possessed entirety of the islands. EVER. Even their 1980s invasion didn’t gain them one square inch of defensible claim.
