Influenza and covid can be serious, but I'm not so sure about RSV. The RSV bug has been around for a long, long time and I suspect that most adults have already survived multiple exposures and may have already had light or silent cases and thus have antibodies already.
I get an annual flu shot and nowadays, an annual protein-based (meaning NOT mRNA) covid vax. I get the one from NovaVax, and did not experience any side effects at all.

Influenza and Covid can be serious Agreed. I contracted Covid and pneumonia at the same time last year and was hospitalized for six days. I developed Long Covid late late year and it forced me to retire earlier this year. Now I've been battling some sort of bug and I just came back from a second visit to my doctor for different meds, Z-Pak. The past 18 months have not been pleasant for me and I sympathize with anyone who contracts illnesses that are going around now.
