I’ve always wondered what Cher allowed to happen to Chastity as a child for her to turn herself into a fat man.

No need to wonder. Chastity Bono claimed in her memoir that she was sexually molested at age 11 by an adult friend of Cher (her mother) that Cher left her in the care of. Chastity wrote that when she told Cher years later, Cher responded, "This will be a good life experience for you."
