Consider Governor De Santis as the Republican bench. Then rethink your statement

Trump lacks common sense imo. Calling opponents “Desanctimonious” and “Birdbrain” is not someone I’d vote for. Voted for him twice but not again. Imo his goal is to deny anyone else the nomination, which savvy Dems will likely help him do. He’ll lose but he won’t care as long as no other R gets a chance.
Ron D is too self self serving and ambitious to serve as POTUS or for that matter the governor of Florida.

This is not new behavior for Trump though. Its no secret he is over the top and it is why he succeeds. He is a troll. Once you get by the bloviating he is actually a fine speaker with great ideas and the great ideas is all anyone should really care about imho

Isn’t that the point? Everyone running is trying to deny the other candidates from getting the nomination. That’s how elections work. What was that you said about common sense? You could use a good dose of it yourself.

I agree. I liked what DeSantis was doing as governor but the minute he came out against Trump, he lost me.
