San Francisco Mayor London Breed (D) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that viral videos showing crime and homelessness in the streets of San Francisco were not accurate.
Anchor Martha Raddatz said, “I know it annoys you when people look at the city and say it’s either dangerous or crime-ridden or drugs are a huge problem, but you’ve got your own citizens saying the same thing. I think about 17% think the city’s on the right track.”

She is unbelievably ignorant and naive.
London Breed would have been a great name for a 60s rock band.
+1
Maybe in your gated home, surrounded by police carrying automatic weapons.
You have companies walking away from properties rather
Then pay the mortgage. Meaning it’s so bad the skyscrapers and commercial properties have fallen so far they are not worth carrying even medium term let alone long terms
That’s horrific
Trying to say it’s lot as bad as the videos is just denial
This is the amoral Democrat scum ideal. They want violent chaos for everyone.
What ... is it actually WORSE than the videos?
Did her name used to be Rose Glasses?
"Join the London Breed."
The viral SF videos are a result of the virus of liberalism. Future historians will find the phrase Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder along with the pictures and videos of San Francisco. Perhaps by then, instead of the DSM-5, it will be the DSM-12, and Liberalism will be listed. The ‘treatment’ will be heavy doses of free enterprise.
For those who live in Rio Linda (not Freepers), DSM is the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
Bull Sh$%. It's 10x worse than I thought when I went there last year. She bragging about helping 10,000 homeless people over the past 5 years. That equates to 0.002 percent of the population of SF. Also, what are the dollar expenditures you poured through to get to those numbers? Your plan to solve the homeless problem is to give them money. That's not a solution, that's a panacea that makes them dependent on the taxpayer. The solution is to find them a job so they can work their way out of the problem, not just throw taxpay dollars at the problem.
“Who are you going to believe - me, or your lying eyes?”
Very simply because there’s no shit on her sidewalk. Limo from home to office and back reveals little.
Sample responses:
"Yeah, I can take a dump wherever I please... Wrap a belt around my arm and shoot up wherever I please... The city govt. is on the right track!"
"I just love stealing - er, I mean 'expropriating from the Man' the $949 worth of goods from the local pharmacy every day. Way to go, Mayor!"
"San Francisco is a paradise! The tent I've pitched right in front of a BART station is the fulfillment of my life-long dream! I can harass all the passengers for 'spare change' to my heart's content!"
17% of San Francisco APPROVE these messages!
Regards,
Of course, anybody with more than 2 functioning IQ points knows better. ("It's only weed, man. It's harmless.")
Dec. 7th will be Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
Even today, in year 2023, there are often outside memorials held in San Francisco by descendants of those (from either side) who lost family after that invasion.
I can almost guarantee you that signs of decay and neglect will have returned to The City by then.
Get Chinese dictators to move to SF permanently - apparently Xi and his underlings can force Breed and the SF city council members to actually do their jobs.
Well, what Breed means is that SF just doesn’t have enough armed robbers to compete with the likes of St. Louis and Philadelphia. They are deficient in the demographic that supplies the majority of them. But quality of life crime - hey, SF is #1!
I’m not going to go look. I’ve hated most every big city I ever lived in or visited except Rome.
