The Working Group for amendments to the International Health Regulations (WGIHR) is openly conspiring to violate Article 55 of the International Health Regulations. Help expose this conspiracy.

Article 55 of the International Health Regulations CLEARLY states that any State Party or the Director-General may propose amendments to the IHR, but they must be submitted at least four months in advance of the World Health Assembly.

The 77th World Health Assembly will be held from May 27 to June 1, 2024. Thus, the final version of the amendments must be submitted before January 27, 2024.

That is 10 weeks from today.

The Working Group for amendments to the International Health Regulations is scheduled to meet on December 7-8, 2023. This was originally planned to be their last meeting. They may, or may not, make a new version of the proposed amendments available to the public at this meeting.

On November 16, 2023, the WGIHR published an updated schedule that includes a seventh meeting on February 5-9, 2024 and an eighth meeting on April 22-26, 2024.
