“Transgender” is not a thing. It is another name for transvestitism coupled with sometimes very extreme cosplay, which may include body mutilation and hormone treatments to accentuate superficial secondary sexual characteristics.

XX is always female, XY is always male. No medical treatment, ever, has changed this basic fact imbedded in every cell of every individual. The most that may be accomplished is to change a male into a neuter, or a female into a neuter, sterile and incapable of reproduction by natural means, and is almost completely irreversible.

Such means of artificially enhancing secondary sexual characteristics is neither good medical practice, nor of ethical mental health practice for those tormented individuals who believe they have been “born in the wrong body”. You are given ONE body, at time of conception, and that is an immutable given fact, either male or female. There is no “switchable” gene.

But then, even the most ironclad logic cannot shake the absolute convictions of the untreated mentally ill. And gender dysphoria is a mental disease.
