A lot of people converted to Islam after 9/11 too. There’s something about murder and violence that attracts these people to that philosophy. The carnage of 9/11, the raping and murdering of women and children and burning people alive on 10/7 is somehow strangely compelling to these people. That is not God, however. That is the devil.

Maybe it’s because being “successful” at murder and violence is a type of power. People are attracted to power, even if it’s negative.
