Not sure who said this originally, but as far as gubermint bureaucrats go, we would make a substantial improvement in the competency of congress if we picked the first 535 names out of any phone book and made them our “leaders”.

I would agree if you said "the first 535 names picked randomly from any phone book ..." because I don't want to be lead by ANYONE whose last name begins with "A" or "B" ...
... now, of course, we know that ANYONE whose last name begins with "C" is pure leadership material ...
