I remember them. There’s a difference in that those low IQ folks were mixed amongst normal people most of which were very loyal and very American. Commanders were competent back then and knew what they were getting and compensated by not placing them or their comrades in harms way more than necessary.
Today is different. Poor leadership with politics a goal much higher than loyalty. The fat idiots enlisting today are on their own and are a liability to any decent soldier standing beside them.
I would not want to be in a war serving with our current military.

When my son enlisted in the Marines in 2015 things were different. In 2019 he had served his 4 years. The idiot voters or cheating could put a dem in the white house in 2024. I think my son got out just in time, and it wouldn’t make sense to enlist again unless this nation truly recovers from the Biden regime and the entire permanent government.
