Very impressive. Lots of value for the money.
Made in America, in Alabama.
Probably as much American parts as GM.
Averaged 44 mpg on the trip, in a reasonably sized, easy driving five person sedan, with an excellent warranty.
A Hundai/Kia, in Wisconsin, in the summer??? I didn't think there were any left! You are lucky you didn't car jacked. Most Hundai/Kia's on the road today have a design mistake that allows them to be stolen with a USB cable, which the company refused to fix or recall. We have had thousands of them stolen each year. I personally know several people who have been the victims of this, and I have personally seen these "Kia Boys" thieves driving erratically swerving back and forth with their friends sitting on the car's open window sills. We recently had a pregnant mother killed by one of these monsters driving a stolen Kia at 113 miles per hour down a suburban street. I will never buy a Hundai/Kia because of the social cost of their bad engineering and their despicable refusal to fix it.
I’ve been eyeing the new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe. Completely new body style from current models. More squared off. Similar to a Land Rover or even the Ford Flex. I like the utilitarian look (and interior cargo space) and would be great for migrating back and forth as a snow bird.
Being able to deal with Amazon instead of some sleazy car salesman might be a refreshing change.
