I am no theologian, but I’m pretty sure the whole forgiveness thing is about people who have somehow harmed or wronged you, not corporations who want to sell beer.
Why does he have to believe in forgiveness?
The good news: I don't. Until I see AB and other woke companies that insist on supporting the LBGTQ agenda, I will continue to boycott them. I'm tired of my grandkids and me watching shows like 911 and 911 Lone Star (because they like fire engines) and having to answer questions like "Why are those two men kissing in bed"? Indeed, 911 has two female couples and one male couple. I could care less what gay couples do in private, but I think prime time TV is the wrong venue for them to push their agenda. Same for advertising.
Kid Rock (never heard of him before) is absolutely right!
And as soon as the entire Board of Directors appears on t.v. and declares that transvestitism and transsexuality are abnormal, and that they were wrong to "push" it on the American people, and that is repeatedly broadcast during prime time, I will resume drinking their beer.
Not before.
Forgiveness is predicated upon repentance and restitution.
Regards,
Forgiveness is only valid if the offender asks for forgiveness acknowledging their errors and seeks contrition. I don’t see the Bud Lite folks giving a rats bottom about being forgiven
Consider the source...
Stock back up to $61/share. It was at $66 when this all started. It dropped over the summer down to $55, with a 52 week low of something like $45. As I’ve said multiple times here, AB Inbev is going to be just fine. And even more so now, with the partnership with the UFC and now we got Kid Rock saying it’s time. Bud Light may face an uphill battle at coming back, but they will, eventually.
I have no clue what he’s babbling about. Neither does he
Dana White got to him at that UFC fight last weekend...
bud light is an unrepentant sinner
Probably because he’s done plenty he wants to be forgiven for.
Is this why:
“ Trump’s most recent 101-page disclosures form, which was filed with the Federal Election Commission on April 14, shows that Trump owns between $1 million and $5 million in Anheuser Busch InBev under an account listed as “DJT Trust — Investment Account #2.”
This is more about the election. Trump is going to run out of campaign money, again, and needs every cent he can get from corporate donors. Whatever ever happened to Trump’s promise to self finance, anyway?
“ Trump’s most recent 101-page disclosures form, which was filed with the Federal Election Commission on April 14, shows that Trump owns between $1 million and $5 million in Anheuser Busch InBev under an account listed as “DJT Trust — Investment Account #2.”
“Trump Jr. called for an end to the boycotts of the beer last week, citing how Bud Light’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch, has a history of donating to Republicans.”
The Trumps love the trannies have for years.
If they didn’t ask for forgiveness he’s under absolutely no obligation to give it.
The Bible is quite clear on this point.
L
As with so many well-meaning people, the Kid doesn't understand that forgiveness is a process:
-- The offender must acknowledge their offense
-- The offender must ask for forgiveness from the person aggrieved
-- The aggrieved decides whether to forgive the offender, but can only offer forgiveness for the specific harm done to them by the offender, they cannot offer forgiveness on behalf of another (for example, a murder victim's mother can choose to forgive the murderer for the pain and suffering he has caused to her, but the mother cannot forgive him for the murder -- only the victim (and of course, God) -- can forgive that)
-- Lastly, just because the offender has been forgiven they must make an effort to atone for the offense (which, in the case of Bud Lite, would be interesting ... if not entertaining.)
They have yet to admit they made a mistake and they likely never will.
Excellent point. Trump needs and covets the donor class.
How many times has he filed bankruptcy in his life again?
