There's a MUCH wider debate about Israel Government policy in Israel, which is natural for any open democracy, than there is in the USA.
Israel itself seems to have a much wider and diverse range of media and public opinion than we ever get here on topic the topic of Israeli government policy and strategy.
One thing is unless firebreathers here get their wish and 2 million Gazans are incinerated (not likely)Israel will in 20 years own the responsibility of not two but probably five million perpetually rabid Palestinian Arabs
