Well, Jane, I was on my way to the rally when a funny thing happened.
One of the guineas mentioned casually that they hadn’t seen me very much lately and asked if I’d spend a little time with them, poor babies.
So I took my guitar out to the guinea pen and sang a few songs.
They loved it.
Everyone else throws fruit when I sing so it was nice for me, too.
Actually,
None of this is true.
I was just late.
(Well, people have threatened to throw fruit when I sing.)
