I agree.
The prostrations the entire damn country gave to St. Floyd (and the billions of $$$ given to the BLM grift) during the summer of '20 was a particularly disgraceful time for our nation.
Nobody anywhere in the public arena, not DeSantis, not Trump, had the courage to say, "F*** that guy. He got what he deserved!"
You can say those sorts of things in private conversations, but public figures would be crucified for saying anything like that.
We all know more now 3 years later about George Floyd then we knew right at the time. At the time, the media presented it as a case of a racist cop using undue force that killed a man. Now we know better , but at the time , people’s statements were based on the limited knowledge we had at that time.

I wouldn’t go that far, but it would have been correct for at least some politicians to defend how he was restrained as appropriate given his conduct in custody.
Also, Ex-Cons esp the 12 percent often try “I’m sick, I’m sick !” to avoid being sent to jail.
