For starters, I don’t think it would be legal to carry any CII-IV medications in mobile pharmacies, depending on the state. I’m also not sure how EScript would work in that situation, and many scripts are sent by fax. There’s so much personal information that must be kept secure in a HIPAA-compliant manner that if the mobile unit is stolen or broken into, it creates more problems than just stolen meds - it means identities may be stolen, too.
Unless they hire armed security to be on board, that is such a bad idea.
I'm 85 and if you or one of your peers write a needed Rx for my wife or I.
Then, my task/responsibility is how to get that Rx without endangering my wife or me.
We have safely used mail order to receive our Rx for about 2 decades.
However, if the people who live in areas of high store theft can’t get the thieves under control so the stores want to stay open-then I guess they’d better learn how to get their scrips by mail-order online from Walmart, Amazon, etc-so easy even a dumbass can do it. All they need to do is make sure they are there when the stuff is delivered so the mailbox/porch pirates don’t get some free drugs to sell in the hood...
My wife for decades was the lead RN in a busy FP practice, and she taught many patients how to mail order and have their drugs delivered safely to their homes.
Some enterprising Black, Latino and Indigenous pharmacists should open a chain of Supermercado dedrogas de socios oscuros. They’d make money and serve their communities.
Here’s a thought: stop looting pharmacies, and maybe they will stick around.

And these people “cry” about pharmacy deserts and food deserts?
The expected is happening even though people will say”how did this happen” where the previously safe refuges of the wealth liberals are being attacked as well
Like “sanctuary “ cities whining about too many “migrants”
