EV anything is a joke.

Look at the recent EV bus accident in SF. Or the fact that NYC scrapped their EV snowplows. Then there is the spontaneous combustion of EV’s.

Volkswagen had a hyper efficient diesel that was around 100km (61.5mi) per liter (.264gal) or about 240mpg.

There is also record holding Volkswagen diesels that get 70+ mpg.

https://www.autoweek.com/news/a1924681/volkswagen-passat-tdi-clean-diesel-sets-fuel-economy-record/

And the carbon footprint, as well as the environmental impact is much smaller for diesels as compared to EV’s.

Whoever put in “search works” I typed in the word “fueling” before posting this and this article did not appear. I just tried it again and the article does now appear - but it is this thread and only this thread.

No one has added in the cost of diesel for the generators of those “public charging stations” along the highway, LOL.

More to the point of the study referenced in the article is crap like this:

“The White House has put about $135 billion toward electric vehicle development and creation and is aiming to build a national network of 500,000 EV charging stations by 2030. Tax credits included in the recently passed Inflation Reduction Act will provide consumers with incentives to buy EVs.
https://www.cnbc.com/2022/09/27/ev-charging-stations-on-highways-dot-approves-50-states-plans.html

Neither did I see anything about the subsidies of the roads themselves paid through gasoline taxes.
