Hamas can only be eliminated from Gaza with (a) a period if Israeli occupation followed by (b) a continued security arrangement inside Gaza with a handpicked “Palestinian” adminstration. Long term purging of Hamas requires an end to Israel-Jewish hatred that is a continuous part of education in Gaza. (meanwhile, in Israel, hatred of “Arabs” IS NOT part of public education).
Palestinians have been offered statehood many times, they turned down those offers. Why? because their goal isn’t statehood; it’s eradication of Jewish people.
