You’re all over the map here, Goldie - as usual. You’re defending DeSantis’s use of tax payer funds (for a purpose that is outside of a state’s purview, I might add) with the argument that it would be unreasonable for him to use personal funds for such an expenditure.
Well, let’s accept your premise. Under that premise, what are you claiming Trump should have done? In case you haven’t noticed, Trump is not office. He can’t spend taxpayer money. So which is it? Trump should have used his own money to do what DeSantis did?, or “You can’t expect DeSantis to pay for this sort of thing with private money”?
Trump should pick a side, and quit going back and forth or straddling the fence.
