“These two had plans and something went awry.”

A Unicorn was just a horn too far for Paul.

;-)

DePape is a Canadian. No one has claimed he came there to rob anyone.

“why would DePape have to break into the house ?”

Lol.

You need to watch On Patrol Live.

Half of the breakins are ex-lovers/partners/spouses who no longer have keys and either want to get their stuff and/or terrorize their former lover/partner/spouse.

Their explanation to the cops is usually along the lines of “If I could just talk to them I know we could get back together....”

If you think about probability it makes sense—the odds of a random person picking a specific residence is ridiculously low. The odds of someone who has previously been to the address and knows the resident(s) is much much higher.

Sounds like a play date.

What? Being attacked and nearly killed?

No one has ever suggested that DePape picked the Pelosi home at random. He searched out the victims' addresses on his computer.

I will go back and try to find it - a lot of information about the ‘incident’ has been scrubbed from the net - including report that when he was stopped to possible drunk driving there was a male prostitute with him.

Will look.

I only know of the one initial false report that both Pelosi and DePape were clad in pj's that was retracted - as opposed to "scrubbed" - because it was not true, which is a pretty good reason. Unfortunately, a few still clung to it far too long.

No one is even trying to "sell" that they didn't know one another other than that DePape knew "of" Nancy Pelosi (she's a public figure). It is simply an undisputed fact.

The mass media is trying to “sell” that Paul and the creep did not know each other—up close and personal—before the incident.

I am not buying it.

Look, this federal case is 100% based on going after Nancy Pelosi because of her work in the government. The attempted murder is a state case yet to go to trial. If there was a whiff of evidence that the attack was personal, the entire case would collapse. His lawyers would make such a motion and they’d all call it a day - even though, of course, the case would never have been filed.

I am not buying any of your points—not one.

You are presenting a narrative—I believe it is a false one—all of it.

Since you have inside knowledge of the entire episode - all of it - please enlighten everyone! Any sources appreciated, while you are at it.

Impossible! There is no “federal” case that will ever attack a retired Democrat.

Someone called the cops. The cops arrested DePape. Much of the story was created back then and has been spun by media protecting Pelosi.

While the account has been around since 2009, you don’t sound like a typical FR poster.

See, I told ya there were things about this that are pretty weird.

You can’t believe the official version because that would be the cover up version made up by Pelosi.

Maybe DePape got angry when Pauli didn’t want to play Unicorn.
