Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves (R) won reelection on Tuesday, giving him a second term as the leader of the Magnolia State, according to projections.
Tates faced a competitive race against Brandon Presley, a Democrat and elected public utilities commissioner. Presley is also the second cousin of rock-and-roll legend Elvis Presley.

The facts are the GOP won where they was suppose to the others was just long shots
There was a sliver in Long Island too.
A bit in Virginia, some of the worst did not prevail.
Gotta take the slivers.
The only election yesterday that was “All Shook Up”.
If you look at the down-ticket races in Mississippi as well as Kentucky, they performed better than the top of the ticket.
The national Dems threw a lot of money into that race. I’m glad it was an wasted effort.
My thoughts on Kentucky are different. The GOP went into that race knowing Beshear was gonna be hard to beat. His dad was governor. He had the name ID and the money. I hate to call it a suicide mission but it was.
Cameron should have remained as AG and tried in four years when Beshear retired. That race would have been his to lose. Now, we lose him as a national figure for the GOP.
I guess he wasn’t Mississippi’s Teddy Bear
