Jewish man dies after being assaulted during pro-Palestinian Arab protest in Los Angeles

Paul Kessler, a 65-year-old Jewish man, has died in Los Angeles after being assaulted by a pro-Palestinian Arab protester with a megaphone during demonstrations in the northern part of the city, Ynet reported on Monday.

According to the report, Los Angeles law enforcement confirmed on Monday that the Jewish man died as a result of a head injury after the pro-Palestinian Arab protester attacked him with a megaphone.

Witnesses at the scene said a verbal altercation broke out between Kessler and a young protester, when the protester struck the older man in the head with a megaphone he was holding.

Kessler fell to the ground, bleeding, and was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, likely due to a brain hemorrhage.

Israelis who were present at the scene told Ynet it was "a terrifying sight" and expressed shock that such an incident took place in their neighborhood.

Isn’t it funny how some (I say some) in the American Jewish community were able to separate Israel from Judaism. Hamas was an abstract political exercise that they couldn’t touch or feel. It didn’t affect their lives.

So it was easy to sit back and claim that “the occupation of Palestine must end!!” It was easy to adopt the talking points of the Party to whom they give unwavering support. Taking the left wing stance on Israel wasn’t being antisemitic. Oh no, Israel was separate and apart. It was “that place.”

And then one day, Hamas came to America. It came and came for American Jews and it didn’t care one wit whether those Jews had called for the occupation to end or whatever or had voted for Obama or whatever.

Sadly, amongst that liberal Jewish population the support for democrats will drop from 99% to 98.9%.

I was going to grab some pictures and do this same analysis I did back around 2013 or so when I spent more time on the conservative side of the protest lines down in Washington DC, where it was MoveOn.org and Code Pink. Now it is Antifa and BLM, but the underlying dynamic and mechanism is the same.

We were most often outnumbered 10:1 by Leftists, except during the Gathering of Eagles and the Taxpayer March on Washington, but the pattern was easy to see.

CONSERVATIVE SIGNS

It was fun looking at these signs. A vanishingly small number had any material that could be considered unfit for public consumption. They were almost all handmade, interesting, and personal, while conveying an individual conservative message.

Also of note, very few conservatives attended these events in busses or large groups. They almost invariably provided their own transportion, food, and signs. And when the protests were done, we assiduously policed the areas. Even where the trash bins were overflowing, trash was neatly piled around the bin, discarded signs were stacked in an orderly fashion.

In contrast, these astroturfed protestors were largely transported in on busses. They were handed pre-printed signs as they left the busses, and often box lunches too. And they were filthy. We were on the traffic circle on the other side of the river near Arlington National Cemetery across from the Lincoln Memorial, and after the Leftists came across, it was strewn with garbage, used diapers, discarded signs and partially consumed box lunches, and trash of all kinds. It was completely disgusting. And all their protest areas at every protest I ever attended had this same unkempt, unresponsible appearance. This is not a stereotype of Leftists. It is reality.

I worry that Iran is preparing a ‘special education surprise’ for the United States very soon, with agents that have slipped through with the millions across our southern border. They will come from Hezbollah, Hamas, and Israeli Palestinians who live in Judea and Samaria. They will come from Africa, the Gulf, Syria, etc., and anywhere else that the Mullah’s tentacles reach. Perhaps even some Iranian sleeper cells. Be diligent and on the look out for them, and stop them if you can. As Holmes said to Watson, “You see, but you don’t observe. We need to start observing. Jews have always tried to separate themselves from Israel. They have even tried separating themselves from their Jewishness when it became difficult to be a Jew. I had a friend who was Orthodox in what became Ukraine in 1938. They tried desperately to separate their whole community from the Hungarian Govt. at the time, but were unsuccessful. Their whole town of Bilke, which was 80% Jewish, was ‘ethnically cleansed’ from Jews, and today their are just a very few that have returned. They thought they would be safe if they just stayed away. I never understood how a nation like Germany could allow naziism and Hitler's nightmare to afflict virtually the entire population. Living in Germany and making many friends there made understanding even harder.

A certain percentage of any population is morally and intellectually weak and easily confused and easily manipulated. That appears to be the answer.
